Question: Should I get the GARDASIL vaccine!?!?
Im a 16 year old female who is not sexually active!. I heard gardasil hurts like no other and I dont want the hassle of going back to the doc 3 times to get it!. Plus I hate shots, doctors, etc!.!. they freak me out!. I havent seen my doctor in like 2 years so I've avoided it!. But lacrosse season is coming up in the spring and I have to get a physical sometime before them!.!.which means I have to go to the doctor!.!.!.and Im afraid they will force me into getting gardasil!. Should i get the gardasil vaccine!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't get it!. It only helps prevent cervical cancer if you are sexually active, as you can really only get HPV if you are sexually active!. I'd hold off!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
YES! it prevents some of the most serious forms of HPV which can lead to cancer!. You may not be sexually active now or anywhere in the near future!. but I'm sure sometime in your life you will have sex, and you can't trust anyone's history!. and no one wants a shot either!. it is extremely benficial for your health and others!. my parents are very religious and do not think i am sexually active at all and still recommended i get it because its such a good vaccine!. and come on your 16, its just a shotWww@Answer-Health@Com
I would be hesitant!. THis is the main reason!. You will still aways need to use a condom to protect yourself!. The vaccine does not protect from all forms of HPV that cause cervical ca!. And there are many other diseases you need protection from!.
I have had a very bad experience from taking the flu vaccine, and now will forever be guarded about the vaccines I will expose myself to!. If it is for something like Hepatitis B, the number one cause of liver cancer worldwide, and the vaccine totally prevents the disease, they I think it is worth taking!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend it!. It can prevent up to 6 types of cervical cancer!. you never know when you might become sexually active!. Once may expose you to a virus that might lead to cervical cancer!. Yes, the shots do hurt, but it is worth it!. Take some tylenol or advil one hour before the doctor visit and you will be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes!. you should get it!. getting 3 shots is so much better than getting cervical cancer!
here's something to think about: if you got it, you could give it to your partner (yes, guys can get it too!. although they don't have a cervix!.!.!. so there's not much for them to be worried about), then you two could break up!.!.!. and he could give it to his new partner!. and even if nothing happens to you!.!.!.!. she could get cancer!.

no one can force you to get this vaccine since the disease it prevents is not contagious!. if you're not sexually active, don't get it!. there have been studies saying it causes seisures, and its not worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
