Question: My period starts the first day of school!
So what should i do, should i just wear a pad and when it starts just tell the teacher i have to go to the bathroom!?!? im really nervous about it, and what about gym glass!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry!. Just think of it as any other "normal day" at school, and you get your period!. Only this time it's better because you're prepared!. If I were you, I would put on a pad in the morning or a small pantie liner and go to school!. If you get your period throughout the day, then simply ask your teacher to go to the bathroom and make sure your pad is adjusted or if you simply want to change it!. For gym, it really depends on your uniform!. But if you're really uncomfortable and nervous then just wear a tight small short under your uniform so you will feel safe wearing two layers of clothing!. And there's no way any leaks will show up; or your pad!.

On the first day of school there will likley be no gym classes however if there is you should have your parents wright the teacher a note asking that you can sit out (if you have cramps) Yes just tell the teacher that you have to go to the bathroom and in most public places there should be a small box to dispose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Make sure you have a fresh pad on before school starts and also make sure that you have more than enough supplies to last you through the day!. Keep them in a discreet bag in your purse or backpack!.
If you're concerned about making a mess, go to the bathroom between classes and check yourself out!. Same for gym class!. There is no reason your period should prevent you from doing anything!. if its not your first period then you should know how to handle it, and hwat your flow is like!.
i use tampons, there so much better and last longer and are much much more cleaner!. using a pad is like sitting in your own blood =S!.

a pad will do!. carry few of them and if it's your first few periods, you may need to adjust how you put the pads on!.
i tired tampons pretty quickly after my middleschool!. they work great for gym!. or you can be traditional and stick with pads!.

Yeah just wear a pad,
and for gym I mean!.!.!.
just take off your bottoms first
so your shirt can kind of cover
that area then put the gym pants
then continue with the rest of the changing
and I mean!.!.!.just leave the pad on until lunch

Actually, that's a good solution!. Just ask to use the bathroom for "personal reasons!." As for gym class, I doubt you'll be doing any activities the first day, but if you think you might, change you pad/tampon right before PE starts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take protection with you, a whole days worth!. I was very athletic, and some girls use pads, I didn't like the crotch lumps! (or the odor!) Maybe try tampons!. Waaay easier! No odor! Sometimes 2 at once will last all day!.!.!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
