this happened to my best friend when she was 13, it took her a year to start her period again!!,and then it was really messed up and always coming at weird times, but by the time she turned 15 it was all normal!!
so trust me if she was ok after a whole year, then you are to =],its perfectly normal for your period to be a little messed up,although even though my friend was fine if your more then 2 months late then you should probably go see a doctor just in case, and yes being active does make it late somtimes, anyway good luck at your concert! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you're still at a young age, the menstrual cycle is completely out of whack and irregular--so it's normal for your first period to come and weeks later you don't get another!. Just wait, it'll begin to become a regular cycle, and you'll be able to track your days!. Don't fret!. :)

"You will have a period about once a month!. Most girls' cycles are between 21 and 35 days long!. Changes from month to month are also normal!. Some months you may have no period, especially during the first year or two!. Your health can make a difference!. Too much exercise or very strict dieting, for example, can use up all your body fat!. You might not have periods if that happens!. Stress can make a difference, too!."

Yes, excessive exercise or stress can alter your period, and cause you to skip or be late!. If you're eating normally and not underweight, then it's probably just the exercise!. You'll probably skip this cycle and be extra heavy next month!. If it doesn't come by the beginning of September, then see your doctor, but it's probably just a skip!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might have a female athlete triad, which means you are exercising too hard, and that is why you are missing your period!. You should see your doctor because if that is the reason, you need to have a doctor plan your meals to make sure you're eating enough carbs and calories, otherwise it could be bad for your bones, and cause stress fractures, and it's also bad for your muscles!. Extreme exercise, losing weight, gaining weight, stress and lots of other things can affect your period causing it to be late or completely missed!. Also some people are never really regular, but I would bet the extra dance practice and stress or excitement for the up coming concert is probably the cause!.
Don't worry!. ( that will just make it later )

Periods are not normal, they are different for thousands of reasons
and still "normal"!. You are probably fine, but only a doctor can
reassure you satisfactorily and you would be safer checking
with a doctor than yoo hoo answers!. Go to the free clinic if
you have to, I am sure a friend would go with you if you wanted!.
Periods do crazy things and then that crazy thing or things are
considered normal for you but ask a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sometimes your body can go thru changes dat u mit not kno about!.!.!.becuzz mines does the same so like you could have been comming on july 30 but sometimes ur egg mite not drop until a little bit latter than you expexted so it mite change your cycle or maybe you shud juss ask your mom!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even thought you're normally regular, it's not a big deal at your age for that to be happening!. Don't worry about it too much!. If hasn't started in a few more days you should probably call your gyno!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

stress can cause your period to come late but in your situation your a dancer so you excercise alot so that might be the thing! hope this helps! good luck in your concert! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stress can cause an irregular cycle also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
