Well, it works in that I didn't get pregnant while I was on it!.
There are tons of side effects, though!. One of the most common is weight gain!. 70% of all users gain some weight, 50% gain significant amounts!. I was one of them!. I gained over 40lbs while I was on it, and I was maintaining my diet and exercise routine!. It came off once I stopped the shot, so I know it was the cause!.
Menstrual irregularities are another common side effect!. I only bled one week every 3 months while I was on it, but my friend bled all but one week every 3 months!. There is no way to know how your body will react!.
I also had migraines, depression, hair loss, skin breakouts, tender breasts, and a complete lack of sex drive!.
The most dangerous side effect is the loss of bone density!. Depo has been proven to seriouosly deplete your bone density, which can lead to osteoperosis!. It is not reversable, either!.

NO it is not!. NO matter how much you don't want weight gain, there is also infertility and loss of bone density to worry about!.

yea it works but girl it blew me up like a balloon!.!.!.i have never been overweight ever except when i was preg but that stuff made me HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not now but it took me a long time to get that weight off!.!.!.i don't reccomend itWww@Answer-Health@Com
it sucks i was on it for a year and i got preggo!. go with the mirana!. the shot not only hurts but it is a pain to get it every 3 months!. i say go with the mirana and be done with it for 5 yearsWww@Answer-Health@Com
