Question: I keep bleeding, when will my period stop!.
It's been going on for about 8 days, i thought it only lasted 4 or 5 days!?
i'm 14 and 5'8 and 105 lbs!. (don't say i'm too skinny, my bmi is healthy)

Sometimes it does that!.!.!. Sometimes its longer or shorter, sometimes it gets irregular, sometimes it stops then starts up again!. Don't worry!.!.!. give it a couple more days!.!.!. if it's still going on then ask your mum to take u to the doc, he might be able to prescribe something like birth control pills to keep them a bit shorter if it really bothers you!.
To start to be able to predict when it's gonna come & how long it will be, start marking the days (start, light, heavy, etc) down on a calendar for about 4 months!. Generally you will be able to predict & count the days in between after you get a good idea of a few months of it!. But remember, your pd is going to be irregular for a while because your body just started doing that!.!.!. so it's gonna be kind of a rough estimate!. You generally know whne your pd is over because you start to get this brown thick discharge instead of blood (gross, i know), then it will be over in a day or two!. !.!.!.But, sometimes it starts back up again for a few days after that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is your first year or so!.!. periods are irregular for a while!. But even throughout many years there could be a couple times when you don't get your period for a while or have it for too long!. It's pretty normal!. Periods are somewhat unpredictable when estimating the length of your period!. :) It will definitely stop, it just takes a little time!.

When your period is only a couple of years old, hormones fluctuate tremendously!. You bleed when your hormones tell you to!. If you got on birth control pills, it would move it to 2 days a month!. I would certainly mention to my mother that this one has lasted 8 days and you know your hormones are out of whack for some reason!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Don't worry when i got my first period it lasted for 12 days that's right 12!!! So yes it's normal & nothings wrong with u u r just young & irregular!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
