Is this supposed to happen?!

i had one fitted over a year ago, yes you bleed for a good month, i mean like not heavy bleeding after a week just spotting!. and yes the pain you experience is normal aswell!. but it gets better after about the 3rd month, now im conforteble with it altho i had to go to my g!.p to get some tablets for the pain and heavyness of the bleeding in like my 6th month but its fine now!.
