I took it about 12 hours after sex!. Since sperm can live in the body for a few days how does the plan B still work!? Is it effective for a couple of days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The medication is an Emergency backup only!. For those of us who are like me in opinion, it is an easy answer for those of you who are irresponsible in your actions to prevent pregnancy!. Maybe I just don't understand women these days and the lack of precautions they take when it comes to sex!. They are just making it way too easy for young women to lay down and have sex, take a pill after the fact and if conception did occur!.!.!.!.oops, guess I have to have an abortion now!.

I think Plan B is a horrible invention!. However it is effective you take it before your 72 hours are up!. Then after you take it you get sick!. so sick in fact its like you have morning sickness!. Then your ovaries get mad and start kicking the inside of you!. Not really but it hurts !. i don't suggest getting pregnant or having un safe sex!. Just use a condom and spermacide and the pull out method (( all in one )) and if your still worried you shouldn't really be having sex !.
Plan B is for those people who decide the next moring they really shouldn't have had sex with that douche bag and then they get worried and drop 25 dollars and then they feel all better about them selves!.( Ive been there))

in a nut shell the sooner you take it within the "72hours" the better!. the longer you leave it the more likely it is to be ineffective!. or possibly causing ectopic pergnacies!.
