Im 19 almost 20 and having issues with breast soreness.!

Question: Im 19 almost 20 and having issues with breast soreness!.
My boobs and seemed to stop growing right around the time I was 14, and now for the last 6 periods I've had Ive noticed extreme tenderness and my boobs seem to be slowly getting bigger!. Isn't it a little far passed puberty for my boobs to have started growing again!? My breast are somewhat small!. Could it have anything to do with the birth control I was on from 12 - 17 to help regulate my periods!. Just looking for anyone whos had experience or knows what Im talking about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It probably is because of the birth control you're taking!. Many women grow their breasts even after they turned 18!. It's just your body!. I guess it wants to grow boobies till now!. Good Luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breast development and tenderness all come from the same source : estrogen hormones!.
Your body naturally changes levels of estrogen as part of the menstral cycle!. As you get closer to menstruating your estrogen peaks which can result in breast tenderness, bloating, swelling and all those things referred to collectively as pms!.
Nothing to particularily worry about and you can continue monthly breast self exams!.
If you are concerned you can always get blood work done, at different times of your monthly cycle to determine hormone levels!.
It is likely your body adjusting to its own levels of hormone production - that is if you stopped taking birth control!.

It could be a number of things!. It could be a sign of being pregnant!. Breast start to swell up and become sore when you are pregnant!. It could be a tumor!. Even being so young if breast cancer runs in your family it can be genetic, do the self examination for lumps!. It can be from birth control pills these is one of the side affects!. If i was you i would eliminate some of these things!. First i would take a pregnancy test if you are sexually active!. Get off the pills!. Go to your family and just ask them if breast cancer runs in your family!. Go do your doctor and tell him or her your concerns!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Many women experience breast pain and tenderness, usually around the time they are menstruating!. This is due to hormone fluctuations, which sometimes causes your breasts to swell up or develop tiny cysts (which go away on their own)!. You should have a breast exam done by your doctor at each annual visit, and also check your breasts on your own regularly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
