So, I'm fourteen and I want to go on birth control!.
How can I bring this up to my mom!?
I really don't have a good relationship with anyone in my family!.

Just make an appointment with your OBGYN and discuss it with HER!.!.!. Leave your mother out of it!.!.!. It has NOTHING to do with her!.!.!.
And it isn't like you are getting on BC because you want to sleep around!.!.!. You want to do it for HEALTH REASONS!.!.!.
I have a friend that started Birth Control because of Endometriosis and each month, she would end up curled in a ball screaming in pain because of what the hormones did to her!.!.!. So she started with the pill then discovered that the Depo shot worked for her and she has been on that ever since!.!.!.
She got on birth control at like, age 14 and didn't start having sex until her 20's!.!.!.
Just go to the doctor, have her write you a prescription, and go to the pharmacy to pick it up!.
You are old enough to take care of all of this on your own!.!.!.
Discuss the different types of birth control with your doctor and between the TWO of you figure out what you would like to try!.!.!.
If you are responsible, the pill might work!.!.!. You need to take it EVERY DAY at the EXACT SAME TIME EACH DAY! (So if you sleep in on Sat, you will miss your pill appointment and it will not be as effective)
If your insurance covers it, try the 3-rod implant that keeps you on a steady dose of hormones for THREE YEARS!.!.!. No pills, no shots!.!.!. No up's and downs!.!.!.
It also depends on if you want your period AT ALL!.!.!. You can get on the kind that skips the placebo week and you won't have your period again until you get off the med's!.!.!.
