Question: The Pill Antibiotics - Risks!?
I'm pretty certain I have a UTI and I'm going to the doctor's on Monday to get checked!. If I do, I'll have to go on antibiotics so how will they affect my birth control pills!? Should I just keep taking them as usual!? I'll be starting a new pack tomorrow!. Should I have sex if I'm on antibiotics!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibiotics will cancel out your birth control for sure, sweetie! That's how my brother and his wife ended up with their second child :)
Make sure you use a condom, or some other form of birth control--ask your doc how long you need to be extra careful!

Ask the doctor when you go, but I believe that antibiotics can negate the Pill, so just to be safe, I'd not have sex while you are on the antibiotics or immediatley after you stop taking them!. Make sure you ask your doctor though,Www@Answer-Health@Com
Years ago I was on the pill,and had bad acne!.!.!.the result of that is a 34 year old nurse with three of the most wonderful kids in the world!

recommend abstinence while on anti biotic!.
