Question: Quite scared to say the least
Hi im having an endoscopy done in a day or so as i have bad nausea!. I am really scared as i have a fear of being sick and well the whole thing just scares me!! I want the spray and the sedative will they give me both!?

I had had one done to me!. It sounds big and scary, but the only pain you feel is when you get the shot of setitive!. You will fall asleep quickly, and then wake up when it is over!. I know you are still scared, but it might help to know that I had one as a child!.

I had one on june 10th of this year!.
It was no biggy!.
They gave me anesteshia and i was asleep in 5 minutes!.
An hour and a half later i was done and kept in a room for about an hour to recover from my sore throat!.
Hope i helped and trust me its no big deal!.
