Im 14 & haven't had my period in 6 months.!

Question: Im 14 & haven't had my period in 6 months!.
I'm 14 & about 6 months ago I stopped getting my period!.
Since the age of 9 they were regular
* I'm a virgin so it's nothing to do with that!.!.!.
* I took menstrual vitamins but they didn't work!.
* I'm not under stress, I don't have an eating disorder & no excessive weight loss or gain!.

I haven't been feeling sick at all but I do get slight cramps around the time my period is due!.

I really don't know whats wrong!.

Should I see a doctor!?
Anyone had similar problems!?

Thanks!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If your periods have been regular for 5 years and they suddenly stop without cause or warning, that permitts seeing a doctor!. My mom had a friend who stopped having periods and it turned out her cervix closed on her for some reason and the blood couldnt get out!. On another note, it could be a fertility problem or your hormones are out of balance ( a pituitary thing)!. Whatever the case you should tallk to your parents about this and get checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes young girls have difficult period from first menstruation up to fully developed regular menstrual cycles!. It will take some time to fully develop your mature regular menstrual cycle!. Please be also informed that in general menstrual cycles are very sensitive to stress, emotional situations, infections, medication, etc!.
Just be patient!. Usually by 18-20 year the menstrual cycle will be fully development, your hormones will develop your own (personal) cycle and your menstrual cycle will be regular!.
In general delay could be in following cases:
1!. pregnancy (pregnancy tests will discover);
2!. reaction to stress, illness, emotional situations, medication, inflammation of genital organs, etc!. (evaluate your life);
3!. wrong use of hormones (including pills);
4!. dramatic weight change (during short period);
5!. menstrual disorder called oligomenorrhea (duration of the cycle more than 40 days, it could be treated in many cases with birth control pills but better to visit your doctor)

i'm 14 and have sometimes skipped my period 2 months in a row and i'm a virgin and dont have eating disorders or anything either, it was normal but maybe 6 months is a long time!? i have no ideaWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you are really active some times u just dont bleed
that would explain why u still get the crampsand other side efects your just using to much energy in your day that your body doesnt have enough to fully complete your menstrual cycle cause its not your bodys first priority but i would still see a docter anyways just to make shure your alrightWww@Answer-Health@Com
