I've never gotten antibiotics for a UTI so I don't know how long it will take to kick in!. Just make sure to drink lots of fluids so you can help flush the bacteria out of your bladder and urethra!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Even if you are feeling better it is important to finish all of your antibiotics!. Make sure you drink a lot of fluids!.!.!. I would suggest water!. It usually takes about a week for all the symptoms to go away!. Unfortunately some antibiotics can cause a yeast infection so if the itching doesn't go away you may have to go back in!. It usually takes one week for the antibiotics to work, but finish all the pills the doctor gives you!.
The itch could be thrush caused by the antibiotics so rub some canesten creme around the vulva!.
Cut back on orange juice, coffee and alcohol as these can cause pain in your bladder too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The meds could cause itching!.!.!.!.unless this is not a new symptom drink some cranberry juice, not cocktail or juice drink until you can call your doc!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
