Ok hun don't stress hehe
If you get pains here are some things you can do
-A wheat bag or hot water bottle on your tummy
-A warm shower
-Some pandol if necasery

Pads are thick enough to hold it back hun just remeber to change it often you will no when it's time to change it becasue you won't feel dry any more,If your getting alot of blood use a super pad if only a bit a reguler pad!. It's very comman to worry about if it will come threw on your pants I always used to worry about this but you should be fine!.and if worst came to worse and it did happen so what!? every one gets periods and if any one was mean to you about it there just stupid!.

If you want extra protection and you feel comfy using to tampons then go for it :) then you can use a pad to incase your tampon gets full and leeks!.There alot easier to use then you think and the instructions of how to get them in are in the box and its quite easy!.

I get quite a heavy period so i use tampons and a pad for extra protection and so far it's never leaked onto my pants so you should be fine :)

The blood comes out threw the day and night and yes soemtimes when your going to the toilet!.

good luck! if you have any more questions just message me becasue I rember it;s a bit scary the first time!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your right they seem scary but you will soon get use to them!. Firstly you need to get sanitary pads there are some good brands in the supermarkets or chemist!. all you do is stick the pad onto your underwear your going to have them for about a week it's a good idea to get pads with wings if you have a heavy flow of blood or are worried about getting blood on tour clothes!.If you do get blood on your clothes wash them in COLD salt helps remove any stains!. Some girls get period pain but a aspro will help until you can get some period pain tablets at the chemist!.If you experience back pain in your lower back a hot water bottle helps it will also help with cramps!.I hope this helps you panic all us girls go through itWww@Answer-Health@Com

the blood continues to flow untill your period ends in about a weeks time, to prevent it from going through to your pants you need to change your pad every 2-3 hours and wear a night pad at nighttime which is more absoarbant though some girls have to get up once a night to change it agin if they have a heavy flow, and the pains are cramps!.!.most girls get them to make them feel better you can take pain killers like panadol or you can have a hot drink!.!.hot chocolates good, or you can put a hot water bottle or anything warm placing it on the part of your stamch you feel the pain!.!.excercise(go for a walk) and diet and also make you feel better!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

So you are a woman now!.!.

The blood flow changes throughout the days you get your period, usually the first 2-3 days are the heaviest!. Use a pad for the time being as you get to know your flow, change the pad when you feel uncomfortable!.

You could get blood when you go to the loo, it could even come when you have a shower, you have no control over it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you have ur period the blood will come out when u use the restroom but no worry! it doesn't hurt! and since it is ur first period I recommend using the pads called "overnight wear" those should do the trick on holding everything!. If you get pains on ur stomach tell ur mom to buy u some Pamprin its the best!Www@Answer-Health@Com

pads are thick enough definenly!. but you have a better chance of blood getting on your pants by wearing a pad!. Tampons work better for that!.!.!. Umm I have always used tampons!. Try midol if the cramps are bad!. it helps alot!. It isnt gonna go through ur pants if you are wearing some kind of protection and are changing it when your supose to!. Just relax ur alrightWww@Answer-Health@Com

if your pad is very thick, then you wont have to change it as often!.
if its thin, still change it about every 3 hours!.
i wear black shorts at night so if it goes through, you wont see it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

or you can get tampons and have to insert it into your vagina

nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it'll come out when you pee!. Don't worry about it it's normal!. It shouldn't go through if you wear a pad with the right absorbency!.!. Good luck :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wear black shorts and blue jeans if it leaks through no one will see :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

OOooook!. First, I know it looks scary - I freaked out the first time I saw mine! No one told me it would be THAT much blood! But it's fine, and most of it isn't even blood, it's just bloody from what blood is there!. You may also get a few clots!. They feel a little gross and look nasty but they don't hurt and they're harmless!.

Pads are thick enough to hold the blood!. They can hold a lot more than they look like they can hold! Lots of girls have the proble, though, with blood coming through and getting on their pants!. Thebest thing to do is to wear black or dark pants while you're on your period, that way it won't show and you won't have to worry about stains! Also, if you haven't already done this, be sure and put on some old, comfortable panties that you don't mind getting stained, because leaks will probably happen at least on your panties!.

Keep a box of wipes, like Clorox wipes or something like that, in the bathroom!. They're good for quickly getting up any blood you leave on the toilet seat!. Be sure and check under the tiolet seat too; sometimes it can drip there, and around the toilet on the floor!. It's messy and gross, but it happens to us all!

If you get cramps, walking helps a lot and so does doing sit-ups!. Just walk in place or something like that if you can't walk around your neighborhood or yard because it's dark!. You can take some tylenol (stay away from aspirin) or even midol or something like that if your Mom has any!. Just be careful because it can make you sleepy!.

Other than that, just make sure you keep your pads changed often enough (whenever they get too soaked) so it doesn't smell or leak as often, and try to relax!. It's just nature!

good luck, hope I've helped!

Relax kiddo!.!.!. you're going to be ok!.

Pads with wings are best as it keeps them in place and are less likely to leak!.

It may look brownish, pink or red!.!.!. all normal!. It will likely also spot on and off for a few days!.

You will need to keep pads with you where ever you go now!.!.!. so put some in your purse, backpack, etc!.

If you get cramps, you can use a hot water bottle and eat a banana (bananas can help with cramps!.!.!. not kidding)!.

Wearing darker colored pants will make you feel a bit more at ease!.!.!. that way if there was a leak, no one would notice!.

It will take about a year to regulate, so put stars in your diary/journal or calendar for the days you have it!.!.!. at some point you will start to see a pattern!.

Sore breasts, cramps, gas and bloating are all normal symptoms!. Sometimes you will get them and sometimes you won't!.

What you do need to watch for is cramps that prevent you from doing daily things, clots that are larger than a nickel, if you soak a pad within an hour!.!.!. if those things happen, see your doctor!.

Call your mom at work and ask her to buy pads on the way home!.!.!. and that you'd like to talk to her because you have questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
