You can buy paracetomol from most places, including newsagents and supermarkets, usually behind the counter!.

It is a painkiller, which becomes more effective the longer it's taken, but you must take it as it says on the packet or you could end up with damaged organs or even having your stomach pumped!.
Don't take it for more than 3 days without seeing your doctor!.
