Question: My period has lasted 8 days now and i normally last about 3 - 4!. It is showing no signs of stopping!.
I came on last Monday, until Wednesday I was really light and had no need for a tampon!. Thursday it became really heavy and i noticed it being a different colour to normal!. Its now a week later and its getting heavier and heavier and is not slowing or reducing and is showing no sign of stopping!. Please help I no this isn't normal for me as I normally have light periods that last 3 - 4 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a problem similar to you just a week or so ago!.
I got my period as usual, it usually lasts 4-5 days, its never very heavy, but this time it just didnt stop, it was very very light, but still there!. This has never happened before, so I went to the doctor and he said its totally normal and this just happens sometimes!. It finally finshed last week, so it lasted just over a month!.
I think if its getting heavier then go to the doctors, but they will no doubt tell you the same thing as me!.
Oh, one things are you on the pill!? I am you see, so if your not perhaps this may be different!. Best thing though, if you are worried just head straight to the doctors! good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

if this is not normal for you go and see your dr he or she might be able to give you something to lessen the bleeding or stop it i lose a lot of blood when i am on my period i have to take pills to lessen the bleeding

I had the same problem years ago, and come to find out it was that I had fibroid!. They were as big as a golf ball and it hurted very much!. I suggest that you see your GYN doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
once i had light period for 2 months !.it was really frustrating i felt like dying!.then my mother took me to the doctor,she suggested i take hormone pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This happened to me once - it lasted 11 days then on my next one it was normal!. I'm sure it's just a one off like mine!. If it happens next time too then maybe you should go to the docs!? xWww@Answer-Health@Com
