Question: Episiotomy healing/scar!?
I had my daughter 5 weeks ago!. I had a forceps delivery and a 4 degree episiotmy!. I'm 5'0 and very small frame!. My question is to woman that have had episiotmies how long does it take to heal all the way!? My stitches have dissolved but I still feel some tenderness down there!. And it kind of feels like I tight pulling feeling!. Almost like the skin is bonded together!. Its a really weird feeling!. Curious if other woman have felt this!. I go to the doctor for my 6 week check out on friday but I just wanted to ask a few questions to woman that have had episiotomies!.

Its not unusual to be tender down there for a while, your body has gone through a lot!. Your doctor will answer any questions you have!.
When my second child was born, the doctor did a rotten job of the stitches!. I ended up going to another doctor and getting it fixed after a year!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

normal healing time will be around 6 weeks which is why they tell you to wait!. just be sure that you are well aroused or use some lube to be sure that you dont irritate it!. After a while you wont be able to tell that you had an episiotomy at all!. At least that is how it was for me!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
