im on birth control, im usually very good with it, take it everyday, but i missed 2-3 days but took them once i remembered and a few days later we have sex!.!.could i be pregnant!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You missed three days!? You realize that that decreases the effectiveness of your birth control, correct!? Your doctor should have discussed this with you!.
When you miss even one pill you are supposed to use a back-up method of birth control for a full week!. The fact that you missed three and didn't use a back-up method would make me very nervous!. If you can't take your birth control as directed, either you need to find a different method or you are simply responsible enough to be sexually active!. I am on Nuva Ring for the simple fact that I don't trust myself to remember to take a pill every day at the same time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only way you could know you're pregnant is to take a test a few days before your missed period or after!.!. its recommended that if you skip one pill you should be sure and use other protection ( i!.e condoms) to ensure protection!. after 2-3 you are just supposed to throw that pack out and start a new one!. It is very important to make sure the pill is taken every day!. Around the same time!. (you have a three hour window) example: if you take your pill at 7pm every day!.!.!. you can also take it at 4pm or 10pm and be safe!. The safest thing you can do if you are sexually active is use a condom EVERYTIME!!. Not only does it protect you from pregnancy!. It protects you from all types of STD's!.

yes the chance is there after you miss your third pill in a row your cycle is completely thrown off and you should've started a new pack!. and since you knew you messed up your pill you should've been smart and used a condom!. its ok to miss a pill here and there because the effectiveness wont go down but missing three in a row is not good at all!. if your not pregnant i would suggest using a condom for the next few months until you know for sure your cycle is back to normal!. without missing any pillsWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes! you shouldnt be taking a few pills a day!. you should have skipped them!. this will thow off your hormone levels and you will most likely lead to you having your period twice this month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
