you can defiantly use tampons in water! I had my period whilst on holiday and was in the pool everyday using a tampon, it won't leak so long as you have the correct absorbency in and replace it every few hours!. If your period comes in time in a few days and your going to the water park in over a week i would suggest you use just a regular absorbency tampon unless your period is quite heavy!. And to answer your last question no you can't use a pad in water!. hope this helps!
Oh and P!.S make sure you string doesn't hang out side of your bikini otherwise could be quite embarrassing!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You cannot use a pad in the water!. It will fall apart and leave pieces of cotton behind!. If it is the beginning of your period, you should use a regular or super absorbancy, although you can always double check on the tampon box by comparing how heavy your flow is!. If you change the tampons every 3-5 hours like you should, you will not leak!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons are great for swimming, or in the ocean or for water slides or scuba diving, the water will not get up there if you know what I am trying to say, but a pantyiliner will only get wet and will render it inoperative!. If you have a heavy flow then use a super obsorbent tampon or will be there all day, but then if you are in the water, the water will delude the blood and no one will know anyways, or just bring enough to chnage every four hours in a backpack, I always bring a back pack with no money or wallet with suntan lotion, sunglasses ect, and you can pack extra tampx in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had my period when I went to a water park once too!. You don't need to worry, you don't have to wear any kind of pad or tampon when in water!. Because your period stops or slows down when in water!. It's not like you'll see a trail of blood!. You won't even notice you have your period!.

no pad, no pantyliner!
if u are that worried test them out for a few minutes in the bath tub
and tell ur mom u want a new bating suite and get a red or brown one so it wont show as bad if it does leak
as far as absorbency i would go with one higher than ur period flowWww@Answer-Health@Com

you can't wear pads in the water because they will get very big, but if you get a tampon, push it up as far as you can and wear shorts while you are in the water so that no one sees the string!. and it should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would use a tampon if ur in the water just make sure noone can see the string ahnging and i wouldnt wear a pad cuz it will just expand from the water and wearing a tampon in the water will not leak if you use the right one Www@Answer-Health@Com

AHHH dont use a panty liner u will embarrass yourself!! it will come off and go floating in the water!.!.!.
