Question: How old were you when you first started youre period!?
i started my period when i was 10 years old,
very heavy, and lots of pain!.
i ended up passing out it got so bad,
which let to emerg and doctors wowing over how i was 10 years old, having my period and them worrying about my blood loss!. i go through hell each months, on meds now to deaden the pain, but ive been on them since i was 10, and they don't seem to work as well anymore!.
im 17 now, i guess your body gets used to the meds!. because each month they work less and less for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got my period when I was 12 or 13!. They were alot like yours!. Major pain!. My OBGYN then found out I had an ovarian cyst!. During surgery, she proved that I have endometriosis!. They dosed me up with pain meds when I was in my teens but we stopped it because it didn't solve anything!. I was just a zombie!. Knowing that it is endometriosis helped because I was then able to try other medications and such that helped to a point!.
You need to tell your OBGYN what's going on!. You're 17 and this has been going on too long!. The meds isn't working!. Tell them you're ready for the next step!. They may want to run some tests to see if you have any reproductive issues that could cause what you are going through!. Call your doc asap!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't understand why you had so much problems with your period, sorry that it wasn't a good first period for you lol =]
I also got mine when i was 10!. I never got pain, just heavy periods and leak everyday haha!. But you can't get blood loss from periods just so you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was 10 when I started too, and it was really painful for me too! It wasn't as bad as it sounds yours are though!. Have you talked to your doctor about the meds yet!? Also, sometimes doctors will put you on birth control to make your periods lighter, even if you are sexually inactive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its usually moderate in the begining, and light at the end!. But its soo long!. Once it lasted 9 days! Was gonna go to the doctor if it was still flowing the next day!.

you could try the 'implanon' not sure if you've heard of it, but its a contraceptive device which is a little metal rod that they insert just under the skin in your upper arm!. for some women, this stops your period completely for !.!. i think 3 years while the device is in place!. look into itWww@Answer-Health@Com

My gosh, it must be painful to go through that every month!. I was about 11 when i first got my period!. I remember being one of the only girls who had there period at that time!. Luckily for me, i never had period cramps or gone through any pain!. I hope yours get better though! Www@Answer-Health@Com
I was 12!. We went to Hawaii for a week and I was totally moody with my mom!. The day after we got back, I was changing clothes for my skating class and when I pulled my biker shorts off, there was a lot of blood!. I still have heavy flows 13 years later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
your body gets immune to the medication, that is right you need to increase the dosage on the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
