You have to be ovulating and the most common sign of ovulation is a period!. If you are taking fertility drugs the goal is for you to ovulate (and have a period)!. If there is something preventing you from having periods, it should be checked out!. Most doctors try to get the woman to have menstrual cycles!. Most wont give further treatments if the woman doesn't have a period!. They usually like to go in to the uterus to see if there is something going on inside that is preventing periods!. If you can't have a period but do ovulate it means that the uterine lining isn't bulking up the way that it should to be able to hold the embryo!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
