Has anyone had any serious side effects to The IUC mirena?!
Question: Has anyone had any serious side effects to The IUC mirena!?
I had an ultrasound done 2months ago,because i was feeling sharp and intense pain in my lower abdman And the lady told me I had to ovarian cysts, When i went to my doctor for a consultation after my ultrasound, she said I was ovulating from one ovary and thats why I was feeling pain!. But im feeling pain more frequently and I dont know what to do!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had Mirena since July 2004!. I haven't had any problems until a few months ago!. I use to never have any periods and then all of sudden I bleed all of the time!. I mean literally I bled for weeks!. Then I started feeling really bloated and full and could hardly eat!. I got really sharp pains, so I finally went to the Ob (I'm not a big fan of going to the Dr)!. I had cysts!. They went away on their own, but again I'm back to the weeks of straight bleeding!. I don't know if it's because I've had the IUD for so long or because I've had the cysts for so long and my body is so out of whack, but if the Dr told you are only ovulating form one ovary now, I'd be concerned!. My Dr was very much involved with me while following up with the cysts, but if your dr is not going to follow up with you, go get another opinion!. I would!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You really shouldn't seek medical advice via the internet!. I suggest seeing another GYN and getting it evaluated!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
