Question: I hate going through this with them!.!.!.wouldn't you!?
Hope you guys can help me!.!.!.!.!.!.I went to the Doctors on August the 4th and they did a urinalysis to test for an UTI!.!.!.!.they said the results would be back in 3 days so I called 3 days later and still nothing so I waitied till yesterday and the receptionist says "the results are in but the doctor hasn't reviewed them let me put the chart on his desk and I will get back to you" so later that day she calls and says "he has to find an antibiotic that will kill the bacterial infection" so today I wait for a call about the antibiotic and the lady says that I have to do the urine test over again because there is over 100,000 organisms in my urine anda UTI can't be ruled out!? what am I supposed to think and am i supposed to be concerned that there are so many organisms in my urine!? PLEASE HELP!Www@Answer-Health@Com

that many organisms usually means the specimen was contaminated, in other words, you didn't get a clean catch when you got the specimen, next time, be sure to clean yourself well, before getting the specimen, and hold the lips of your vulva apart while you urinate so as to avoid contaminating the next specimen with surface bacteria!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Usually they can use a dipstick and test the urine right away!!
I had bad UTI's in college and they would always do that and start me on Cipro right away!.
But every doctors office runs differently!. So I assume you have to repeat the test!

I would get another doctor!. I've never had that kind of issue!. They sound a little disorganized!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
