Calm down and take it slowly!. The entrance to your vagina should be visible!. Before you try putting a tampon in, feel around and see if you can find the opening with a finger!. It should be right near the bottom of your vulva!.

If you really are having trouble don't be shy; take a look at this picture!. It's Wikipedia so it's SAFE!. The hole is visible and yours should be around that area too!.

There's no need to be nervous!. Being scared will make you tighten up your vagina!. Just sit down on the toilet and relax and if it hurts a little, just keep going!. Being a virgin shouldn't give you too much trouble because tampons are pretty small and you are NOT too tight for a tampon; if your hymen is intact still it shouldn't be a big problem either because your period flow is still getting out so it can't be that obstructive!.

Just relax!. It might hurt a little bit (it still does for me sometimes) but just keep putting it in and it should not be unbearable!. You will be so grateful when you start using them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!.] Turn your caps lock off!.

2!.] Inserting a tampon takes practice, if you need to--set the mirror on the floor and kneel over it while inserting!. I recommend Slim Tampax Pearl Glide as it is smoother and with a little lubrication will usually "glide" right in!. Find your vaginal opening, put the tampon in almost perfectly vertical!. Be sure to apply gentle but firm pressure!. You may not be pushing hard enough, thus the difficulty!. When correctly inserted, it will not hurt or be uncomfortable!. If it hurts or you can feel it, you have inserted it incorrectly!.

3!.] A tampon is not big enough to stretch or tear the hymen, thus the state of yours doesn't really have anything to do with your difficulty inserting the tampon!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you can't find the area, try just using pads, they are easier to handle!. try a smaller tampon Like an O!.B!. , one without the applicator, and you will have to use your finger to push it in!.

play with the mirror and find your vagina, you may be having issues getting it in because of vaginal dryness, meaning you are using on that is too absorbent for your needs!. try the O!.B!. ot a tampax junior!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get a smaller tampon, and try it will feel akward and yuck but once its in properly and far enough you should not feel it good luck and it will get easier with practiceWww@Answer-Health@Com
