Might sound stupid, but I really didn't know, and this girl I know says she has to have a hysterectomy and they are removing her cervix also!.

Usually yes, that's what it means!. Especially if she is at high risk for cervical cancer!. I'm not aware of anyone having a hysterectomy and not having their cervix removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
