When do I start using deodorant?!

I'm 12 and i started putting on deodorant when i was 5,so when ever ur ready 2 i would start!.don't have my period yet but do wear bras!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you have your period before deodorant, you know its time!. 9 or 10 would have been the right age to start!. When you're at the store, just say hey mom while we are here can we get some deodorant!. It's a lot easier than asking for tampons! She's actually probably wondering why you haven't asked her yet, so just go ahead and do it!. It also sounds like you are keeping her out of the loop, which may make her a little upset!. Because she wants to know whats going on with you, even if you are embarrassed!. What happens when your sister is with her friends and you need something!? What are you gonna do now!? So start telling your mom stuff, she need to know anyway!. You don't want to go to the doctors office and have them ask stuff then tell them something that your mom doesn't even know! Remember, it's not that big a deal to ask for deodorant!. It's kind of like asking for perfume or lotions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should start uing deodorant now, since you smell already!. It shouldn't be too bad to ask your mom about it, just tell her it can be kinda embarrasing that you smell and don't want to go to school (or anywhere) smelling, so you want to use deodorant!.Also, deodorant really isn't that expensive, so if you really don't wanna talk to your mom about it, you should be able to buy some yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have your period already, then you most definitely are ready for deodorant!. Usually by the start of puberty is a good time but certainly if you notice you are sweating!. Tell your mom you need some next time she goes grocery shopping and if she says you don't need it, explain that you're sweating!.

If she doesn't get you any, go to your school nurse!. She'll give you some!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Putting on deodorant comes as naturally as putting on suntan lotion before you head to the beach!. I don't think you give your mom enough credit -- it's not as if she hasn't gone through these changes herself!. Sure it's easier to have your sister do things for you, but sometimes it's just more convenient to go to your mom!.

Just ask her to pick you up some deodorant from the store; it's really not that big of a deal!

You should start using it as soon as you realize you can smell your own body odors!. Remember!.!.!.if you can smell yourself, then so can everyone else!. I would start immediately, just to save yourself a possible embarrassing moment at school!. Once someone makes fun of you!.!.!.it will continue, whether you fix the problem or not!. uhm, if you smell, then obviously you need it!. Everybody needs deodorant!. Nothing to be embarrassed about!. You could always just buy it yourself!. I'm turning twelve soon!. I just share my deodorant with my mother!. Though we have two, so we just use whichever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
