Question: Awkward Question: Period in the morning while living in dorms!?
i have an awkward problem: when I have my period I use pads and when I wake up its usually kinda messy so I have to wet the toilet paper to clean up the mess (sorry this is tmi) but how do I do this when i live in residence with communal bathrooms!?
also how do you deal with your period and you have to shower!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Instead of wetting the toilet paper try getting some baby wipes!. They are premoistened!. Don't worry about taking a shower!. No girl is going to think you're weird or a freak because you're having a period!. Communal living kind of means everyone knows everybody else's business!. Now go grab the soap and go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its no big deal, just carry a toiletry bag with you to the bathroom and get like a travel size disinfectant spray from wal-mart or somewhere like that and spray down the area before and after you use it, just remember that if you are having this problem then so is someone else, so just protect yourself, the shower is the easiest, rinse the shower with water and then spray it down, you can even use bleach spray if you wantWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you need to change your pad during the night to avoid any mess!. Baby wipes are great to use while you have your period!. You could clean yourself up in the toilet with them before having a shower!. You could talk to other female friends to ask how they deal with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

use tampons at night!.
i have asked my gyno and he says its perfectly fine as long as you dont sleep for more than 8 hours, and being that you are in college you probably dont sleep much!. also you could get these cleansing wipes Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could opt to use tampons and also carry personal wipes!. Cottonelle and kleenex make some very good bathroom wipes that are flushable!. It might make things easier for you!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
