Answers:
Most medical studies say you don't need to douche - which is a bottle of solution, I bellieve it's mostly water and vinegar !. You basically insert it into yourself (like a tampon) and it flushes out whatever's in your vagina!.!.!.
However, the vagina is an amazing thing! Men don't have them and we're the lucky ones because the vagina is a self-cleaning mechanism!. By douching, you are not only cleaning out your insides, but you are removing a lot of the neccessary chemicals your body produces all the time!. I think most ob/gyns would recommend douching once in a while, but not suggest this as a routine!. We ovulate and have our periods (also a way our bodies do its own thing and clean out)!. You don't want to go injecting some foreign liquid inside yourself - and it does not decrease your chances of getting infections/viruses!. Leave things to Mother Nature!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you can either use water or summer's eve has a variety of different scents and types of douches you can buy at walgreens!.it is something you can insert into the vagina and a low pressure rush of water is supposed to clean out the inside of the vagina!. i was douching for some time, usually after my periods!. but i would notice that i was getting yeast infections!. my gyno finally told me that douching is really bad for you!. the vaginas pH level (level of hydrogen ions) in the vagina can change while douching which can cause you to be more likely to have a yeast infection!. my suggestion, as was my doctors, is to just wash the outside of the vagina with an unscented soap!. its the best thing you can do to keep clean and reduce changes of getting yeast infections!.
