Uti - gyno or doctor?!

Question: Uti - gyno or doctor!?
I think I may have a urinary tract infection!. I haven't had been to the gyno since I got new health insurance after college!. Any of the obgyns on my new plan i've called have about a few month list just to be seen!.
Should I just go to my regular doctor!? Could she get me a faster appointment with a obgyn!? Or should I go to somthing like urget care or planned parenthood type thing!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
go to your regular doctor, they will do the same as the ob would and you can probably get in faster! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just a regular doctor will be fine!. You can even go to a Physician's Assistant, they can usually see you sooner (at least in my experience)!. I go the PA route for everything, pap smears, sports injuries, etc!. etc!. etc!. If you need a referral to a specialist they can give you one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just see a doctor, any doctor, and tell them when you call that you have a urinary tract infection, that will get you in quickly, simply because doctors know that a UTI can spread easily to the kidneys, they want to get it treated quickly too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I go to my regular doctor!. All you have to do is pee in a cup!. Then they send it to the lab!. Maybe you should call the hospital and talk to a doctor to see what they think!.

If you don't want to call, I say go to the doctor (not the gyno)!.*Www@Answer-Health@Com

UTI would be a regular doctor visit unless you are having serious problems!. If it gets bad before you can see the doc, then go to urgent care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
