Question: Breakthrough bleeding on microgynon is this normal!?
I started back on the pill last month after having a baby 4 months ago!. I have been taking it religiously every evening as normal and last month i had breakthrough bleeding after 2 weeks and i am also experiencing breakthrough bleeding this month!. Is this normal when you start back on the pill after having a baby or does this mean its not working!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is working!. I'm on the same pill and had breakthrough bleeding for the entire first month - a complete annoyance but something worth just sticking out!. It should clear up during the second pack but if there's still problems after the third pack go see your doctor, he/she might make you change the pill to another one with a higher dose of hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The pill has several different effects and I'm not trying to scare you but, I got pregnant twice on the pill!. I then went and got an I!.U!.D with no hormones!. everything is great with is!. normal periods!. I've had it in for 5 years now and can't even feel it!. Anyways, the pill gives different people, different reactions!. That's why I chose not to play with hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It can be common in the first couple of months, it is also common for this to happen post pregnancy!. If this continues see your Dr who may recommend a pill change!.!.if you've taken the pill every day as directed then you have contraceptive coverWww@Answer-Health@Com
