Question: Does anyone know what!? besides pregancy & period could cause breast tenderness!?
I cant be pregnant!. I am fixed!.!. ;) I had a tubal ligation!.!.!. My period ended last week!.!. So I am trying to find other reasons for breasts being extremely tender and sore!.!. Anyone got any thoughts on this!?!?

Alot of things can- your hormones still change and the breast tissue can still be tender causing the pains!. I get sore breasts even when I dont get my period:(
Regarding webcrafts answer- 9/10 any lumps etc to do with breast cancer does NOT cause any pain so she cant go scaring you like that (although I agree that depending on your age you should be getting mammograms every five years as with anyone else)

I do not know your age but doing regular breast exams is important - at any age!. There may be something going on with your mamory glands that need attention - see your doctor right away and have this looked at!. Early detection (don;t mean to scare you) is the key! And it will also ease your mind of the "C" word!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
