Answers:
Yes its normal!. It was probably just hemorrhoids, so don't freak out!. If its the first time that it has ever happened, just monitor it to see if it happens again!. See if there is any burning or itching, at any part of the day or night in that area, and note any pain!. If the blood was rather red, and nowhere near black, then that is probably all it is!. Black blood on the other hand would be something that you would want to talk to the Dr!. about, but lighter, brighter blood, almost always comes from a hemorrhoid!. Anal tearing could have occurred, and there are a number of causes from that!. Make sure that you DON'T EVER push during a bowel movement, and try to eat more fiber!. Don't stress over it though, I had the same problem, and when I spoke to my Dr!. about it he wasn't at all concerned!. My mother is a nurse and she wasn't concerned as long as it wasn't dark or tarry!. Anything serious comes from higher up in the body and will be dark and tarry looking, so I would say you are fine, since you knew it was blood, I doubt that it was dark right!? Just watch straining the area by pushing when you go to the bathroom, or by doing any heavy lifting! Good luck and God bless! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Was it bright red blood!? If so, chances are you have a hemorrhoid!. They don't always cause pain or irritation so you may not have noticed it before!. It could be from straining to go to the bathroom, from exercise, or some other sort of strain!. So just be careful when you go to the bathroom and try not to irritate it!.

Keep an eye on it though and just make sure it doesn't start to get worse and if you have any other physical symptoms like cramping or anything else out of the ordinary, you may want to have a doctor check you out just to be safe!. Otherwise, its usually nothing serious!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did you see bright red blood or a dried up brown blood!?

If it's bright red - there are a few things that could be wrong!. Most likely though you had a tear in your anus!. It's a very sensitive tissue area and it kind of resembles a mouth when you pucker up to blow bubbles!. If you strained or pushed too hard to pass a bowel movement that wasn't ready or too hard, then you could have torn your anus tissue!. It's very similar to chapped lips!. The best thing you can do is drink lots of water (at least 2 liters a day) and increase the fiber in your diet!. Keep an eye on it, and if it occurs frequently, then you need to see a doctor!. You can develop hemorrhoids or infections, but if you keep yourself clean, drink plenty of water and increase your fiber you should be fine!.

If it's brown, dried up looking blood - you might be bleeding internally!. You should book an appointment with your GP and talk to him/her about it!. They'll most likely need to do an inspection - either with a camera/probe or just a visual inspection!. This is the more serious of the two cases!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You most likely have a hemorrhoid!. That's like an inflammation of a part of the anus and sometimes it gets scratched and bleeds a bit!. Or you might have had a piece of your stool cut your anus!.

In a more serious case, you could have some digestive disease going on such as ulcerative colitis or Krohn's disease!. These are not as likely!. They're generally treatable diseases!.

But in any event, you should see your doctor soon to be examined!. Further, as you get older, you should have a colonoscopy at least once every three years!. It takes three years for a polyp (a pre-cancerous growth in the colon) to become cancerous!. If you have a colonoscopy every three years, you vastly reduce the risk of getting colon cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how old you are but if you're anywhere near 19 or 20 you need to look into having a colonoscopy!. That's when they give you anesthesia, then put a tiny little camera up your pooper and it checks out your large intestine and checks for polyps (little bumps, could be benign or cancerous)!. My dad had the exact same problem and he got one done and they found 6 polyps that they removed!. It's a relatively easy procedure if you go to a good hospital and you just have to be on a liquid diet the day before!. It;ll all be over and done with in about 3 hours!. Good luck, and it could be serious , like cancer serious if you don't look into it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have hemorrhoids!. Have had a large poop!. Anal sex within 48 hours!. There could be losts of reasons!. I would watch it for the next 3-4 days!. If you don't improve or it gets worse then call your doctor!.

In the mean time you can increase your fiber and water in your diet!. If you are have large or hard poop then this will help!.

If you have hemorrhoids then wipe with warm wet toilet tissue!.

If you are having anal sex then you should stop for at least a week so things will heal!.

I am not saying that any of these things are what is wrong these are just some of the things that can cause rectal bleeding!.

Its probably nothing!. I know what thats like, its probably that you tore a vein or something while you were going!. It generally happens when you push too hard or its too big to get out comfortably, the hole stretches too much and tears a little and will bleed a bit!.

I'd suggest getting preparation H and put it on your hole just because it will help it heal faster and clear out any possible infections, and as we know there are many infections festering down there! Or waiting to anyway!

It happens from time to time!. But if for some reason it happens frequently, like say everytime you go, I would suggest seeing your doctor as it could be something more serious than a tiny tear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, i was going to say its your period, but!.!.!.your not on it!? well!.!.!.!. you could have had something red in your poop, and thats what you found!? or you got a cut on your butt, and then thats what you found!. sorry to be kinda blunt, but otherwise I'm not sure!.!.!. !?

its happened to me before though!.!.!. but then it just went away, and hasn't happened since!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your period may be irregular, or if you had sex within the last couple of days then you will have a little blood or you might just be a little sore, if it continues go see your regular doctor!.

gd luck and hope it gets better xWww@Answer-Health@Com

If your, um, session proved to be a little painful, some tissue might have ripped!. It should heal in a couple of days, but if this continues to happen, SEE A DOCTOR!.
In the meantime, make sure you keep your bum clean!. You don't want to get an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless the blood is in the actual feces, I would not worry to much about it!. Sometimes it can happen because of the texture of the crap (for lack of a better term)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it was just a little bit of bright red blood, it should be no problem, just a small tissue tear that will heal in a day or so!. If the blood was heavier or darker, you might want to consult your physician!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's a really weird question!. Anyway, it's fine and you shouldn't worry about it!. It tends to happen to everyone on occasion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
