Question: Have you ever had an I!.U!.D!?
I have tried most methods of birth control and am left unsatisfied!. I am looking into trying the IUD out but I have heard some horror stories!.!.!. please tell me about your experiences with it, good, bad, or otherwise!. Thanks again!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are horror stories out there about every form of birth control!. For most women, it works fine!. Bad things that happen with IUDs revolve around excess bleeding!. But, for most women I've worked with, they may bleed for a couple days and will feel some cramping for up to a week or two!. But then, they really can't even tell they have an IUD except that they don't get pregnant!. After about six months or so, quite a few get a surprise and their period stops!. Its really common to see someone again worried they are pregnant on the IUD when in fact, they are just experience the "side effect" of no more, or very few periods on it!.
I haven't run across someone who was sad to not have to have any, or as many, periods!. The best thing to do is try it - if it doesn't work for you, it can be removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got a paragaurd Iud (the copper one with no hormones) put into place 1 1/2 years ago and I have no complaints what so ever!. I have not gotten prego at all!.
When it is placed in you get to feeling a bit of cramps about a half hour later they last a few hours, but its not anything too terribly bad!.
Now when I start my period I spot the day before and the day after I am done!.!. Its like a hello I am coming, and A goodbye, see you in another 28 days!

It is not my personal experience but for my sister, it was pretty bad!. at one point when she had it removed, it was causing her too much pain
