Irregular bleeding while on Yasmin birth control?!
Question: Irregular bleeding while on Yasmin birth control!?
Five months ago my doctor put me on Yasmin to control prolonged, heavy bleeding due to perimenopause!.
During this time, I had a scare with my mammogram, and they thought that I might have breast cancer!. Everything checked out okay, but it was several weeks of nail biting!.
Once that scare was over with, my mother, who has been ill for the last several years, worsened and was in the hospital for three weeks, before she died!. It was a very difficult time!.
During all this, I have had a lot of heavy spotting, and when I went on the filler pills, my period was extremely heavy and long, like before!.
I am due to see my doctor in a few months, I intend to discuss this with her then!.
Could this be due to all the stress and strain that I have been under for the last several months!?

It could be caused by stress!. Also, with all birth control pills there is always a chance of bleeding!. I believe I've heard that sometimes on Yasim you can experience heavy spotting, like you have!.
