Question: Birth control and weight gain!?
I've been on the pill for about 5 years now!. I left for vacation 2 weeks ago while on my period and forgot to bring along a new pack of birth control to start!. I was 4 days behind on my pills upon returning home, and doubled up on pills to make up for the difference and get to my regular routine!. (I am NOT sexually active right now, but am aware that it's not as effective when taking it incorrectly!.!.!.)
However, i gained around SIX POUNDS! I didn't eat any differently/more than usual while on my trip!. If anything, I was more active!. Could taking my pill the way I did have anything to do with this!? Half of my clothes don't fit!.!.!.I almost freaked out when I hopped on the scale!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some birth control medication does make you gain weight!. I suggest checking out the box for side effects or looking it up online!. If you didn't change your eating habits, it's most likely either you're birth control pills or water weight!. You could also call the doctor who prescribed it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
