Answers:
Ovulation is when your body prepares it self to get pregnant, basically!. Its when you're most fertile, and there is an egg that is prepping itself with tons of nutrients and such in case it meets a sperm, to create a baby and feed it and all that!
If you're already pregnant, you're already done ovulating and the process is complete!. Egg created great habitat for a baby to be created with nutrients and fluffy cushions! > Sperm came along, they joined forces! > Egg that was ovulating has now started to feed and nurture the baby!

So the process of ovulation is complete, and there is no need to ovulate while you're already pregnant because you can't get pregnant while you're already pregnant, do you know what I mean!? Its basically like the first step in procreating, but usually its never fulfilled or completed unless the sperm meets the egg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because ovulation is controlled by hormones and when pregnant, hormone levels change!. Fine thumbs down but it is true:

Progesterone is found in relatively low levels for the first part of a woman's menstrual cycle!. It is produced by cells within the ovaries called "granulosa cells" which surround the tiny follicles that will mature to become ovulated eggs!.

After ovulation, the "yellow body" (corpus luteum) that released the mature egg into the fallopian tube begins to secrete high levels of progesterone from the granulosa cells within it!. This hormone stimulates the growth of rich blood vessels that supply the uterus lining (endometrium)!. It also causes the expansion of tiny glands in the endometrium that produce a fluid (uterine fluid) that can be used to nourish sperms and embryos that find their way into the uterus!. These tiny glands are created by the estrogen hormone and the progesterone takes over the job of making them mature into "feeding structures"!.

The production of progesterone will normally drop away after about 10 days beyond ovulation!. It is this sudden reduction in the hormone that will prompt the menstruation period to begin due to the reduced oxygen supply from the blood vessels that were previously encouraged to grow by the progesterone hormone!.

If however, the released egg is fertilized and manages to embed itself into the uterine wall, then the hormone b-HCG is released from the developing placenta, which has the effect of telling the "yellow body" to continue to produce both progesterone and estrogen!. This in turn prevents the start of the menstrual cycle and stops further eggs from being released!.

The ovaries continue to produce progesterone (and estrogen) during the first 8 to 9 weeks until the placenta begins to reduce the amount of b-HCG secreted, which is a signal to the "yellow body" that it is capable of producing these hormones for itself and requires less help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

women dont ovulate when pregnant because the ovum has been fertilised!. During ovulation an egg is released which travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus!. If the egg remains unfertilised it is shed along with the lining of the uterus during your period!. If it is fertilised it implants itself to the wall of the uterus and develops into a fetus!. When that happens your body will stop ovulating and producing eggs as it has achieved its objective which is to have the egg fertilised!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because ovulation leads to menstruation which is when bits of your uterus are flushed away!. Once you become pregnant and the egg embeds itself into your uterus wall, it sends a chemical to the rest of your system which tells it to stop ovulating!. Or else, the egg will be flushed away!. When you ovulate that means your egg is coming down thru your falopian tubes!. Ok if a sperm cell connects with your egg then that causes a baby to develop so you won't ovulate till after a baby is born!. Your body ceases to drop eggs while you're pregnaut!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, he's not a doctor either!.

Basically, ovulation is releasing of the egg to be fertilized by a sperm!.

When you're pregnant, the egg has already been fertilized!.
There's no reason for the body to release a new egg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

once an embryo is implanted in the ovary, the woman's hypothalamus sends signals to her body to not ovulate anymoreWww@Answer-Health@Com
