okay so I'm 17 i started my period when i was 13 and ive been been regular ever since then but I'm 3 1/2 months late!.!.!.!.
I'm kind of freaking out!? I know for a fact I'm not preggers cuz I'm still a virgin lol could it be a thyroid problem!? helppp!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry about it!. Through my entire 20's, I was ALWAYS irregular!. I'd have random period every 2, 3, or even 6 months!. It wasn't until I was in my mid 30's that I finally became regular!. And I HATE IT!. I'd much rather go back to every 3-4 months! Wanna trade!?!?
Point being, you're still young, and your body's not quite in sync yet!. Other things can affect it too!. Playing a lot of sports, being anorexic, a lot of stress, etc, can sometimes even stop your period!. As long as your healthy, eating right, etc, it sounds like it's just your standard puberty freak out!. I'd say not to worry till you go a year without one!. (which I doubt will happen) If you're having any weird pains, though, I'd say go see a doc!. BTW, good for you waiting to lose your virginity!. I waited, and I have absolutely no regrets! :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

if u have signs of thyroid problems such as weight gain or lose,tired alot,hair drying out u should see a dr!. usually they want u to see them every year virgin or not because of cervical cancer!. cant really hurt to go just to be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
