Question about Tri Cyclen-Lo Birth Control; missed pills!?!

Question: Question about Tri Cyclen-Lo Birth Control; missed pills!!?
Hi,I've been on Tri Cyclen-lo pills for about a year for a irregular period, anyway, I've missed pills before and always just took it as soon as I remembered (usually the next morning) Anyway I use Sunday as my start day, so since today is saturday I should be on my last pill before my period starts next week, only thing is I have two left! (I usually take them in at about 11:30 and it's dark so I usually don't notice the day)

Last month I started the next pack right away because I was going on vacation, could that have fooled up my days!. Anyway, as I said I should start my period next week (usually wednesday) so I just leave them and start a new pack next sunday!? Or will I have to start on a different day!? Or should I take them both tonight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could easily be off because you started the last pack right away!. You may also have forgotten to take it on another day and just never remembered!. Either way, it is no big deal!. I would only take the one tonight and throw the other one away!. You should still start your period like normal!. However, if you are sexually active you might want to consider using condoms in addition to the birth control since it seems like you miss them sometimes!. When taking BC for period regulation it is not that big of a deal if you take them exactly on time!. But if you are taking them for actual birth control missing a pill can put you at risk for becoming pregnant, especially if you miss them frequently!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably just take today's and throw yesterday's away!. You may start a day early because of that, but it shouldn't mess you up too much!. Then I would start a new pack next Sunday like normal!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
