if its enough to worry you, you should go see your gp again and ask them!. It could be nothing but 23 days is long, esp with passing clots, if it is not your normal period which you are passing, then go back and get another opinion!. It could be that you do need a scrape but only the doc can say for sure!. If you need one, its best to get it done now rather than leaving it and it gets worse and you do end up getting an infection!. Just be brave and phone the surgery!. If you pass any big clots, (bigger than a 50p) save it and take it along to the Gp to show, or you could phone the family planning or even the doctor who managed the procedure!. They really should have given you some information about what to expect and what to do if you have prolonged bleeding etc!.
Hope this helps and its gets sorted for you soon!.
Good Luck, you will be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bleeding after abortion is normal!. How long you bleed for after the abortion depends on the abortion method!. Bleeding can vary, some women bleed for long periods of time and some do not have much bleeding at all!. Bleeding after medical abortion can last for several weeks
