I'm only 12 but I feel very uncomfortable with my chest size?!

Question: I'm only 12 but I feel very uncomfortable with my chest size!?
It's hard for me to pick out tops because my chest size always seems a bit larger than other girls my age so it's very uncomfortable for me to wear tighter tops!. I feel like my family and others stare whenever you can tell how big my chest is!. I am very sensitive about the whole "puberty" situation so its hard for me to talk to my mom about it!.!.!. we barely ever talk about bras and that kind of stuff!. And I'm pretty sure I do need a cup bra but i've tried them on before and seem to make my chest appear even larger!.
What advice do you have about my situation with my size and shirts!?!? I just am not sure what to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
first off you need to be properly fitted for a good bra!. Bras can make ones chest look bigger but you need support!. Go for something with minimal lining/padding in it!. Department stores can sometimes help you get a proper fit and victorias secret trains their associates to help fit you too!. You need to be honest with your mom, its a sensitive subject but she needs to help you out and you might need to shop in a more grown up clothing section or reconsider your clothing opotions!. Don't wear tight or form fitting tops for now, even if you classmates are!. You can also talk to your doctor about your situation!.
As you get older this will be less of an issue except when it comes to boys!. Just ignore the boys Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can wear sports bras to hold them in more but i understand that you want a real bra, your best bet would be to actually get fitted by a professional because maybe your wearing the wrong size, and then ask the sales girl to help you find one that will make them look smaller or something!. or you could even wear a bunch or tank tops under your shirts, layer them in pretty colors so it looks nice and makes you more comfortable with your chest!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, first, you don't need to feel uncomfortable or shy bout your own breasts!. they are yours!. and be a proud owner of it too!.

I suggested that you should really go get a full cup bra from the lingerie stores!. i advise you in wearing a FULL- Cup bra as your breasts are still developing, so it is better for you to take total care of it till it become stable or slower growing speed, then you can start wearing those half-cup, bikini, or others!.

About your shirt, Try buy a bigger size!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

is there another female family member you could talk to!? ask a friend or somebody close to you to come with you for a professional bra fitting!.

this will help to get a bra that fits comfortably and supports your chest size!. there are also minimiser bras that you can get!. also ask the bra fitter about that!.

try to be proud of your assets - i know at least twenty women who would swap with you, and have boobs that fill a bra at all!

much love xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

My first recommendation is for you to go and have a proper bra fitting at a major department store!. No need to be embarrassed!.!.!. the ladies that do it have been for years and are very knowledgeable!. If you explain your dilemma, they can find a bra for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

awwww, i was uncomfotable too!! just remember the more you talk to her the less awkward it seems!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh girl, I wish you were older and able to appreciate your body more, but we've all had uncomfortable moments during puberty and it's not easy!.

The best advice that I can give is for you to go to the lingerie departmentt or Victoria's Secret or something like that and talk to the women that work there!. They will help you, measure you, and tell you what size bra and fit will work!. Just tell them your situation and they will give you suggestions!. Try them on, that's important!. Make sure you're comfortable, and don't forget to try to your shirt on with the bra (make sure it looks right, not pointy or mis-shapen)!. If you're trying not to accentuate the size of your chest, definitely avoid bras with a lot of push up or padding!.

As for shirts, try v-necks, not too low-cut, or scoop-necks!. You basically want choose something that shows little skin to divide your chestline (not a lot of skin, just the top, and no cleavage, you're 12)!. I know it sounds like that doesn't make sense, but it works, trust me!. You basically want to avoid a UNI-BOOB look!. And, DEFINITELY AVOID HORIZONTAL STRIPES AT ALL COSTS!!! you can also try cute and fitted cover up jackets, very stylish!.

Now this is going to sound really cliche, but when you get older, I think you'll appreciate your chest size a bit more, but I can see how it's uncomfortable now!. Hope this helps a little, now go out and get a good bra, it's definitely worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh dear, do I feel for you!.!.!.the same happened to me!. You don't need to be uncomfortable with it though, it is you and you are beautiful! You do however need to go get a nice cup bra, whatever size cup you are (a sales associate can help you in the store) and I know it seems to make you appear larger, but it will only help to make your breasts look more presentable!. It may seem like you accentuating them when in fact you are only supporting them and making them look better!. People are more likely to stare if you do not have a good supportive bra on!.P!.S!. There are these amazing bras that actually minimize the appearance of your boobs! They are great! I'm here to talk if needed : DWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have no advice for you on the breast issue (I'm 24 and seeking a breast reduction myself) but I just wanted to say for a 12 year old, you are one incredibly articulate young lady! Your post is beautifully written (most kids your age R ritin in da txt spk) and I think you must be an incredibly intelligent and lovely young woman and that's the most important thing so don't even give your chest another thought!.
Seriously though, you're still young!. They could stop growing and the rest of your body might catch up until it's all in proportion!. And if you can't talk to your mom, find someone you can discuss it with - an older friend/relative whom you trust or a school nurse; there's loads of people out there who can help!.
