Question: Ovarian cyst!? i don't know!!!?
hi, im 16 yrs old and ive found a lump around my pubic area which is kind of almond shaped!. Ive felt it and it seems like a ball and is swollen all around!. and it does hurt me!. Also, on the other side if i press hard on the outside it hurts me inside!. I have been going to the bathroom more often!. Do you think its a cyst!? please help! thank you :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there hun!. Well, from my medical point of view, yes it does like an ovarian cyst!. Symptoms mainly are - Swelling of the abdomen, pressure on the bowels (which is why you may be needing to go to toilet more often), periods may change, and sex may be uncomfortable!. If it is 'active' masculine tumour, it will change your hormones too, You may get more facial hair, your periods may stop and you may become more masculine in shape!. You are best seeing your doctor, they will know from feeling your lower abdomen and your symptoms, what it could be and you may then be sent for an ultrasound scan!. Another thing is, don't keep pushing it and touching it as it will hurt you more, just leave it all alone until you have seen your doctor!.
