Migraine advice from fellow sufferers please?!

Question: Migraine advice from fellow sufferers please!?
I woke up last Thursday morning with Migraine and numbness in right hand - not had migraine for 5 years - still had numbness on Fri so rang NHS Direct - They told me to make emergency appointment with GP went to see them Fri afternoon told me to come back Monday if still got numbness in hand!. So been back this morning and doc thinks I may have suffered a small stroke due to Migraine (which I did not know could happen)!. Being sent for MRI scan to see if anything can be detected!. Has any other migraine sufferer had this!? I'm really worried and still getting headaches (but not migraine)!. Thank you all in advance for your advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't give your age which would have helped shape my answer!. The likeliest possibilities are paralytic migraine, which wears off, and stroke!. Currently strokes are managed actively, and if your GP suspected this was the diagnosis he should have arranged admission and secondary care medical assessment!. I would seek further actual medical advise rather than virtual, a!.s!.a!.p!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I cannot figure out why this works, but it does!.
Whenever I get a migraine, I call in the gardener or pool cleaner and ask him to do an oral thing on me!.
It actually does work to have your clitoris sucked on and for as much as it leaves me with an hugely swollen clitoris, It certainly does break the migraine!.!.!.

If the doctor thinks it's a stroke what on earth was he doing sending you home on Friday without being checked!? There are rules and regulations doctors have to follow and new guidelines for stroke victims, the earlier the drugs are supplied the less chance on dying brain cells and permanent damage like slurred speech & reduced brain activity etc!.

The migraines may have been a symptom rather than the cause!. How long do you have to wait for your scan!?

There was a programme on Radio 4 recently about it, http://www!.bbc!.co!.uk/dna/h2g2/A543061, this is the nearest I can find to a link!.
