Question: Is 5'2" short for a 15 year old girl!?
I'm 5'2", 15 years old, and 111 pounds!. I have big thighs which make me look shorter right!? My doctor says I'm not going to grow anymore!. Every woman in my family that I can think of is on the short side!.!.!.even the guys!. Most of my classmates are taller and call me short, haha!.
I don't want to be tall! I was just wondering!.

Well, it seems like 5'2 is a "normal" height!. I'm 14 and I'm about 5'5!.!.!. and I weigh about 120!. I look really tall, and sometimes it bugs me, but when I think really hard on it, I'm really grateful that I have this height :)!. However, in your situation, it seems you have a family history of short people, which obviously is the reason why you are short!. But your doctor is wrong to say you won't grow anymore, even if you have a family history of short people!. Because people stop growing when they land on maturity and stop puberty (which is at about age 18)!.

I was 13 when i reached my maximum height of 5'2"!.!.!.and i am now 19 and the same height!.!.!.i have REALLY short legs (28" inseam jeans :( ) and i wear a size 5 shoe!.!.!.i have been able to wear the same size clothes since the 8th grade and i am going into my junior year of college!.!.!.don't worry, guys like petite girls because it lets them feel more protective and tall!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 5'2" at nearly 18!. I've grown an inch in 8years!. NOT FUN :/ But i've gotten used to it!. I think you're fine at the height you are, i even have a couple of friends shorter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
