If you're very active (sports, dance, etc) that can throw off your period, as can stress!. If you don't think it's either of those things, it's still probably nothing to worry about!. At 14, your body is still trying to get used to the craziness of your period (I know it seems like 2 years is a long time, but it's not really) and it's pretty normal for you to be irregular like you are!. If it bothers you, or if you're very worried about it, you can ask a gynecologist (OBGYN)!. The problem there is, I'm assuming that at 14 you haven't been very sexually active, and the gynecologist may want to examine you, which is uncomfortable and not really necessary!. So I'd suggest talking to your pediatrician first - he or she can discuss it with you, and may even be able to prescribe a birth control pill (for hormone reasons, not bc reasons) that will make your period come regularly every 28 days!. If they can't, and you're that desperate, you can see the gynecologist!. But all of that's sort of intricate, so if you're just checking here to make sure nothing's wrong, there's a good chance it's just your body being irregular!. Nothing to worry about =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's true that if you are very active (and have only about 10% body fat), your period will be very irregular!. Another factor could be stress!. And obviously, if you've been having a sex, a possibility is that you're pregnant!. Periods can be irregular in the beginning, for up to 5 years so don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
