I have asked multiple questions about this, but I am still scared! HELP!?!

Question: I have asked multiple questions about this, but I am still scared! HELP!!?
Okay, I asked a few questions about this, but I am still scared and stuff so:

I am 10 10/12 and I am going through puberty (i am pretty sure!.)!. I am not sure if it is normal for me to get all this stuff so early!. I am currently 10 10/12, 79!.4 pounds, and 4'11"!.
I began getting breasts and public hair in June (At THAT time I was 10 8/12, 77 pounds, and 4'9"!.)
I began getting underarm hair early on this month!.

I am scared to death still!. My mom doesn't know much, just that I need trainers bras (which she got me yesterday!.)!. But I don't know if it is right to begin this early and stuff!.
My mom didn't tell me anything!. All she said was that she got her first period around my age and when I asked what that was (playing clueless) she said she would tell me later!.
I do know what a period is, I did research, but I don't know much about anything else really!. It didn't feel right to know what i shouldn't know!.
I have been having nightmares about my first period and everything! I need help! I dont think this is healthy to start so early, skinny, short-ish, and underweight! HELP! PLEASE!!!!!!

Also, I am going into 5th grade and no one else has even started wearing training bras yet!

Also, I have swimming at school, what do I do about the public hair!?

Please help, I am embarresed, scared, annoyed, frieghtened, and even mad! It's even scary to ask this!

Also, I have white skin!. I have heard people with black skin start earlier so I dont know if that makes a difference or not the color of my skin!.!.!.

You don't have to worry about it all, love!. Different people develop
at different times!. Start with training bras, but within the first year or two your breasts should continue to get larger, until you will need actual bras!. Also, don't worry at all about your period will come when it comes!. It just means that your body is growing, which is not unhealthy at all!.
Your period won't be too bad, it might shock you a little bit, but you wont notice it after a while!. From now on I would suggest that you bring an extra set of underwear and pants (sounds silly, but I made the mistake of not being prepared my first period lol), and ask your mum to buy you some pads!. Puberty will change your mood as well, so the crying and anger is all normal!. It will all feel new and strange at first, but hey, we all go through it, and it won't be that bad once you're used to it after a while :)

good luck hunWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some girls just start earlier than others!. Just carry a pad with you so if you do start your period you will have one with you!. Its really no big deal!. Your moodiness means your getting ready to start!. A week out of every month you might have craving for certain types of foods and get moody!. Its part of being a woman!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every girl goes through it at different times!.!.!.!. I knew girls thats started as early as you!.!.!. and knew one girl taht started her period in KENDERGARTEN!!! so !.!.!. its all different you re normal!.!.!. go talk to your mom!.!.!. the shock factor can be a gret boost for youWww@Answer-Health@Com

that is so normal everyone starts at different times my friend is 12 and has size b almmost c breasts and she is very skinny dont worry she started early ask ur mom to shave and who cares if u r the 1st 1 wearing a bra people (guys) will like u stillWww@Answer-Health@Com

ur fine i started puberty at age 8Www@Answer-Health@Com

So talk to your mom again! Let her know you really would like to know from her point of view!. She's been through this before, so don't be scared!.

If you swim while on your period, you must wear a tampon or moon/diva cup!.

Don't worry about pubic hair, just make sure its inside your swimsuit!.

I started around age 11!. My mom and I had "the talk" around age 10!. Am 34 now, wearing tampons since age 11 as well!.

Welcome to puberty!. You are normal and this too shall pass!. The mood swings, the growth spurts, etc!.
!.
You don't have to do anything with your pubic hair if you don't want to!. You can also trim it really short if you want!.
!.
There is nothing to be afraid of!. It's a normal part of life!. If you want your mom to be honest with you, you need to be honest with her!.

She started about your age, so of course you are normal!. And if you've read a lot online, then you know it's normal!. Girls can start as young as 9!. Some don't start until they are 16!. I started at 13, but my mom didn't start until she was 17 or 18!.

PS the color of your skin doesn't matterWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have a lot of questions listed and I just want to ease your troubles a little!. I was 9 when I started my period!. I began puberty in 2nd grade!. I had to start wearing a bra in third grade, and had discharge and pubic hair, as well!. I was a very early bloomer; I'm 24 now and turned out fine! Hon, you're perfectly ok!. It is not dangerous for you to hit puberty at a young age!. Nothing is wrong with you; it's safe and healthy!. Good for you for doing research on puberty and periods! It is important that you speak with your mother, but if she shuts down and won't talk to you about it, continue your research!. Take a trip to the library and check out some books on puberty and female development!. They can be very helpful when our parents sometimes aren't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry you feel like this, but I'm glad you did some research!. Everyone develops differently, so 10 is not too young to start your period!. (I know 8-9 y/o's that have started it)!. It has nothing to do with your race, but a lot to do with your genetics!. If your mom started at that age, you are more likely to!. I'm sure you've read that growing leg/ underarm hair, pimples, breast development, and mood swings can all be signs of puberty or a period!.

Just try to be as prepared as possible!. Keep a pad (or panty liner) in your purse/ backpack/ pocket!. Otherwise, ask your mom to buy a few packs so that you can wear them regularly!. It's a bit of a waste, but it could be worth the peace of mind you'll get!.

Remember that billions of women have gone through a first period and survived just fine!. School is starting soon, and the nurse might be able to give good advice if you need a trusted adult!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

everybody develops differentyly, and your genetics play into that!.if your mom was around your age, then this is normal for you!. i had friends in 5th grade who already had thier period, its no big deal, you just have to be prepared for it!.

if you can't get help from your mom, talk to the school nurse, or a close family friend who you trust and who is willing to help you!.

as for swimming, i would go buy a cute pair or board shorts to wear with your bathing suit!.

you'll be fine girl, this is normal, just hang in there!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every girl goes through this at around your age!. I remember when I was your age, about half of the girls in my grade started going through puberty (actually at around grade 4 some started)!.

You should sit down with your mom and start having a chat!. She went through the same things at your age so she'll be able to help you whether you think so or not!. Seeing how she bought you a training bra, she probably can already guess that you've got pubic hair growing in already and will soon enough be ready to have your first period!. You are actually starting right about the time that most people hit puberty!. In recent years, more and more girls have started to hit puberty at 6-8 years of age!! As for swimming, you can shave the pubic hair where your bathing suit bottoms will cut in (usually right where the top of the leg meets the pelvis) so it's no big deal :)

Good for you for researching stuff, BUT be very careful what you read on the internet!. As someone above me mentioned, try going to the library to find published books!. I remember I never wanted to talk about anything with my mom, so my mom one day went out and got me a book that covered literally everything!.

You may be feeling very moody because of all the hormonal changes!. Hormones control almost everything in the body from how your body develops to your moods!. Because you have hit puberty and your body is changing, your moods may be all over the map!. Once again, this is pretty normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
