Feminine hygiene question.. (ladies please help me out!)?!

Question: Feminine hygiene question!.!. (ladies please help me out!)!?
I got my very first yeast infection about two/three days ago!. I recently just got off antibiotics and the medicine basically provoked my body into getting a yeast infection, since I wasn't replenishing the necessary bacteria in my body (ie: I wasn't eating enough yogurt)!. Anyway, now I'm paying the price!. Again, I've never had one before, and I was extremely over-whelmed with the symptoms!.

I used Monistat 1, the one dose treatment 2 days ago!. Today most of the treatment leaked out and I got horrible itching/burning pains for a few hours!. However now its not as bad but its still extremely sensitive to the touch!. Should I take another Monistat treatment (like a three dose treatment) instead, because maybe the one I took didn't work, or should I wait a while to see if it clears up!? I was told sometimes it takes a few days for the symptoms to go away!.!.!. is there anyone out there who has been through this or has any advice about this!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I too had that happin after a dose of antibiotics!. Eat lots of yogurt and call the doc!.
They have a pill called Diflucan (fluconazole) that you take!.
Good luck :/Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a CMA

You need to go on a full dosage of a heavy antibiotic and so you are aware not eating enough yogurt has nothing to do with getting or not getting a yeast infection!.!.
If monistat is not working you have something other than a yeast infection!.!. See your GYNO NOW!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your doctor can give a pill that will clear it up!. It is one dose and you're done!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call your MD, he can write a one time prescription that can solve al your symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
