I don't understand your question!. What do you mean by a "period"!? If you have been bleeding on and off for a week, then this IS your period!
You have one per month, typically!. Each period lasts from about 5-7 days (roughly)!. Some are lighter than others!.
If you are pretty young, just starting out your periods, you may not be very regular yet!.
If you have reason to ask the question "Am I pregnant!?" then you must be sexually active!. If that's true, you really, really need to talk to someone like a doctor to get the information you need on how to stay healthy and how NOT to become pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
