Do I Have an Ovarian Cyst? (only women please)?!

Question: Do I Have an Ovarian Cyst!? (only women please)!?
Okay, my period has always been kind of abnormal!. Sometimes it would take up to 6 mo!. to come because I'm overweight!. The doctors told me it could be an ovarian cyst or my hormones unbalanced due to my weight!. I never went back!. I was 17!. I'm 19 now and lately I feel like a sharp pain around my pelvic area!. Like if there were little vains in there and like someone is pulling on them really bad!. Then i have this really bad odor down there and yeah, around my pelvic area/ovaries area it really, really hurts!. My sister is a CNA and she thinks i might have an Ovarian Cyst!. I'm scared!. Do you think I have this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), and have had similar experiences!. 1) If you're having abnormal periods, you need to be treated, because it greatly increases your chance of cancer if you're not having them every month!. 2) If you're having pain, it's time to go to a doctor!. Pain is your body's way of telling you that there is something wrong, and if you don't seek treatment, something worse could happenWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's definitely possible!. If it is, it's completely treatable!. Please return to the doctor and find out EXACTLY what is wrong and get proper treatment so you don't worry so much!.

I've had cysts on my ovaries before, they put me on birthcontrol pills and it cleared right up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
