Question: When can I have sex again after delivery!?
I had a relatively easy delivery about 2 1/2 weeks ago!. I only got 2 tiny stitches at the top of my "kitty cat"!. Will I mess my insides up if I have sex in another week!? I think I might lose it if I have to wait another 4 weeks!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is because your uterus is VERY susceptible right now to infection!. So even if your outer parts (your vagina, cervix, etc) are feeling fine, your uterus has NOT had an adequate amount of time to heal!.

First off people heal at different speeds, sometimes some woman arent ready to have sex a year after their delivery!. As long s you feel comfortable and it doesnt hurt you too much to have sex I would think it would be absolutley fine, i wouldnt if you have stitches but once theyre out i would say go for it! You should wait until the doctor releases you!. You are more likely to get pregnant after delivery!.!.at the post checkup you will discuss birthcontrol options!. They dont suggest 6 weeks to be mean!.!.it really is for health reasons!. You can tear the stitches, and cause some damage!. There is also risk of infection!. The doctor usually asks you to wait 4-6 weeks to allow your cervix to close!. You won't mess up your insides, but you could get an infection in your uterus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They tell you to wait 6-8 weeks but I only waited about 2 weeks with both of my deliveries!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
