I was 8 when I started my period (Imagine being in 2nd grade with it :( ) and I don't remember all the pain associated with it!. However through the years ive learned that exercising helps, laying on your stomache with your legs bent upwards helps, taking Ibuprofen helps, a hot pack on your lower abdomen helps, a warm bath will help and eating chocolate actually helps!. Well, anything with caffeine!. Good luck becoming a woman!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honey your periods will come when your body is ready!. There are specific medications to help with the onset of period pain!. Go and see your nearest pharmacist, they will help!. A hot water bottle on your tummy will give you good relief also!. A check up with your Doctor at this time wouldn't hurt, he will make sure that you don't have a condition called endrodemetriosis which is very painful and needs to be treated!. To explain it simply, when you get a period the inside of the uterus sheds which is normal, with this condition the outside of the uterus sheds as well!. Your tummy pains are most likely due to the fact that your will get a period soon but all girls having painful periods should be checked for this condition!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You say you have had pains and been feeling sick yet are not bleeding, so the association that it is a period coming may be wrong, you could have picked up a urinary tract infection!.

There is no way to 'hurry along' a period flow!. It sometimes causes achy backs and cramps a day before its arrival, but the bleeding would have usually started the next day !. However, if you know your body and you are definately experiencing pre period pains, just take ibuprofen !.

Bear in mind, running a fever, being sick, or worsening or sharp pain that gets worse should not be ignored as stomach pains could be coming off your bladder or bowels or even your appendix!.

I'm sorry to read that you are in pain!.

You might want to consider that it might not be due to your period, however!. If it were typical cramps before a period, it's most likely going to be felt strongly in the small of your back, or your lower back as well and around to the front!. Much below your stomach, near your ovaries!.

Sounds like it would be a good idea to see a doctor!. If your pain is really bad as you say and is continuing like this, you might want to get someone to take you to the emergency room!. Do you have a fever or are vomiting!?

Please be careful to take Tylenol only as directed!. Also, they might make the pain go away, but as you probably already know, it doesn't take care of what is causing it!.

If it is cramps because your going to start your first period, then welcome to woman-hood!.

ps!.!. I agree with "maxpower"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Menstraul cramps are a pain in the booty, but it is something that all women have to go through!. I myself have extremely bad cramps every month for about a week before i get my period, the week of, and then the week after!. Warmth on your lower abdomen helps a lot, and so does a medicine called Pamprin!. You cant really make it come faster, but try my suggestions for making the pain go away!.

Good luck hun!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When i get bad cramps i take a hot bath!. Just lay in the bath until you feel better!.

There's no way you can help it come faster!.

And if you think its coming soon then try wearing panty lines at school so you won't leak while your at school!. That will save you from an embarrassing situation!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
